We are often asked to recommend veterinarians that have experience working with greyhounds. Please don't wait until an emergency occurs before choosing a vet. Investigate the clinic beforehand and learn the route from your home to the office so that you can act quickly should the need arise.

- Note: All veterinary practices that do surgeries on greyhounds should have a supply of IV Aminocaproic Acid (Amacar) in stock. This drug is used to stop or slow down internal bleeding in greyhounds. If the practice does not have Amacar or worse yet do not know about it and its use in greyhounds you should probably find a speciality group that uses it.
