ABOUT GREYSAVE

Founded in 2006, GreySave is a greyhound adoption and support group in Southern California. Through mid-2-23 we have brought in and adopted out close to 1800 greyhounds. 

We primarily get our retired races from the Caliente track in Mexico be we also take in greyhounds found in animal shelters, from individuals who can no longer care for them and occasionally get young hounds that did not race or older prior racing greys from farm kennels in the mid-west.  We adopt them into loving homes in most of the southern CA counties. We most likely have foster dogs and adoption reps near you! 

OUR PEOPLE 

GreySave is staffed entirely by volunteers. It has no paid positions. Most of them have worked in greyhound adoption for many years. They give their time, money resources  for sheer love for the dogs and out of commitment to the goal of saving greyhounds.

GreySave is in the process of putting together a You Tube channel where adopters and potential adopters can watch short videos of GreySave events and our greyhounds doing uniquely greyhound activities, like singing, roaching, running and even swimming.  This channel is still a work in process but if you have a "greyt" video you would like to share we'd love to hear from you.
