WAYS TO SUPPORT US
GreySave is a completely volunteer-staffed Southern California based 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Public Benefit Charity. All donations made to GreySave are tax deductible. GreySave is supported primarily through fundraising events and donations/gifts from individuals, organizations and businesses. Our adoption fee does not totally cover the costs associated with getting and preparing a healthy greyhound for adoption. It costs on average $600 to $800 for these dogs. But for the 25% to 35% of the new dogs that come injured or sick GreySave will spend thousands of dollars to get them the special medical attention they need.
In addition to a financial donation, there are many ways you can contribute to help the mission of Greyhound adoption. Ways to support GreySave are outlined on this page.

Additionally a donor can either send a one time donation or set up a recurring donation via credit card, PayPal or by mailing checks. Any recurring donations are accounted for as Benefactor's donation and will be acknowledged annually after the end of the calendar year.

CELEBRATE THE LIFE OF A SPECIAL PET OR PERSONCelebrate a special pet or a person by making a contribution in their name. The contribution could be in celebration of a birthday, a holiday, a wedding, any other special event or to honor a person or pet's life. Based on your directions, GreySave will send a personalized letter or card to the celebrated person or the pet’s adopter. You will receive a thank you acknowledgement for your tax-deductible contribution.

DONATE ITEMSAmong the more important sources of funding for GreySave is the raffles and auctions at our annual Race to the Park! Picnic in May and Fall Social in October, and the garage sales held at Sue Blair's home. We end up with so much more money for greyhound adoption if we don't have to buy the items that we raffle or auction off.

DONATE A % - BUSINESSES THAT DONATE $Several large companies make donations to Not-for-Profit registered with them. GreySave receives donations based on our friends purchases from Ralphs and Food For less and PayPal Giving. In 2022 GreySave received $800 from Ralphs and Food and $250 from PayPal giving.
