BE AN ADOPTION REPRESENTATIVE
GreySave Adoption Representatives work with potential adopters to make sure a greyhound is right for them, and then help them find the right greyhound and help them after the adoption. The adoption representative is the link between GreySave, the hound and the Forever home.
Adoption representatives must be experienced greyhound adopters who care very much about helping greyhounds make a smooth and successful transition into their Forever homes. Their job is to make sure that potential adopters know what greyhounds are all about. It is their job to make the initial decision on what needs to be corrected in the home before adoption and also if the potential adopter is a good match for the greyhound breed. The adoption representative is responsible for the successful communication between the match maker who selects the adoptee, the foster home who has cared for the greyhound and the potential adopter. Their goal is to help find the right greyhound for the right adopter. Post-adoption it is the adoption representative's job to keep in touch with the adopter and their hound to help make the adoption perfect!! As you can guess the adoption representative job is one of the most challenging at GreySave.
If you are interested in an opportunity to be an adoption representative, you have good greyhound experience/knowledge and people skills then maybe it is a job for you. GreySave offers on the job training and you would be paired up with an experienced adoption representative for your first few adoption. Believe me this is a learning experience that will challenge your skills.
