ANNUAL FUNDRAISING EVENTS:
GreySave tries to have two large social events annually. These events are lots of fun, greyt for community togetherness and pretty nice as a fundraiser. There are usually 200 to 250 people and at least that many greyhounds at these events. We hold the events in May and October. We call the May event Race to the Park and the October event Oktoberfest. Please do come and join us for one of these Greyt events.
GreySave's October 15th - Oktoberfest event!!

GreySave's Oktoberfest will be held on Saturday October 15th - This years Oktoberfest will include a Halloween costume contest and parade with several costume categories. We will also be bringing back the greyhound carnival. We will have our quite popular grilled Oktoberfest sausages, salad, home made desert bar, water and soda. Besides the costume contest and carnival there will be auctions, raffles, a senior photo and a nail trim booth. The GreySave store will be open and will have some sale items and the 2023 Greyhound Calendars. Plus there will be plenty of time to rest and socialize with your greyhound friends.

We Always Need Volunteers
For Race to the Park to be a successful fundraiser GreySave will need plenty of volunteers to help us pull off a greyt day! Specifically, if you can come early and help set up, stay late to help clear everything away and/or help with events during the day, sell raffle tickets, take greyt pictures, work in a carnival booth or make yummy cookie for desert we would love to hear from you. This is a a fundraiser and takes quite a bit of planning and on site execution and your help will enable one or our hardworking committee members to take a break and enjoy the day along with everyone else. If you can help, please contact Judy our special events volunteer coordinator. We would really appreciate your help!
We Also Need Tasty Deserts
GreySave's Race to the Park is know for its has greyt its scrumptious deserts. Our volunteers often make pull out the old family recipe book and make their favorite deserts. If you have a flair for making a special deserts and would like to share please contact Chuck or Jennifer DeGraffenreid and let them know what you will bring and share.
