Special Presenter's Series.
Greyhounds are different in so many ways! On GreySave's web site under Greyhound Health we express that we know greyhounds are different in many ways. Physical oddities, quirks or just plain differences are just some of the ways that can get them and the people who love them in trouble!
When GreySave started 11 years ago, one of our goals was helping our adopters and others understand greyhounds including their sometimes very unique health needs. With that goal in mind, GreySave is hosting a series of presentations on various greyhound health and care topics. Our 1st presentation with be on Holistic care of your greyhound.
After that, and based on the success of the 1st presentation, we plan to have others. Possible topics include: how to care for your greyhound's teeth; traditional veterinary medicine (including how do you find a greyhound experienced vet); greyhound blood - what is that report really saying; current treatments for severe and not so severe greyhound issues like corns, pannus, osteosarcoma and other cancers; best practices when traveling with your hounds; the advantages and disadvantages of a raw diet.
Each presentation will be kept to a low number of attendees so there will be plenty of time for questions and answers. Each presentation will require registration and nominal donation ($20 to $50) to cover costs.
