Saturday, February 25: Inspired Hound Wine Tasting and Social at Curtis Winery
2-4pm, 5249 Foxen Canyon Road, Los Olivos. Come join us for a GreySave art and wine event! Photographs, drawings, and poetry all celebrating our beloved hounds, along with fantastic wine tasting from one of California’s premiere wineries. Tastings are $5, ( refunded if you purchase a bottle of wine). We can bring our greyt friends to enjoy the afternoon among the trees and vines. It’s an event that would make Bacchus and Bo Derek proud. Artisits wishing to bring their work should contact Allison Henry for details—all original work welcome to display and sell! January Dogs
Fifteen greyhounds came to GreySave on January 7: Abby, Tex, Buffy, Mable, Cappy, Gladys, Woody, Nimitz, Cruz, Ann, Victoria, Vegas, Holly, Tizzy, and Persian. They're settling into their foster homes now. You can view their photos rotating above, and read more about them near the bottom of the Adoptables page. Holly, Tizzy, and Persian are in the Medical Hold section at the bottom of the Adoptables page. We'll add their profiles to the Adoptables page as their pet personalities emerge. You can see how their day goes from the time we get them from the track at The Last Lap.
GreySave Homecoming Video
View a new, three-minute video of our homecoming on November 7. It shows most of what we do at our greyhound homecomings, at which we take in dogs from the track and prepare them for their foster homes. GreySave Benefactor Fund Drive 2010-2011
Despite the recession, GreySave still placed a lot of dogs in loving homes in the last year. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we continue to provide whatever medical support is needed by the hounds we take in. Our injured dogs this year have required on average $3,500 in medical treatment. Read more about how you can help us meet this challenge.
