GreySave is a completely volunteer-staffed Southern California based 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Public Benefit Charity. All donations made to GreySave are tax deductible. GreySave is supported primarily through fundraising events and donations/gifts from individuals, organizations and businesses. If you would like to help GreySave through a donation, please use the button below.

Our adoption fee of $275 does not cover all of the costs associated with getting and preparing a greyhound for adoption. It costs GreySave an average of $450 per dog, excluding the few that need serious medical attention, to prepare your dog for you. We have spent thousands of dollars on some dogs needing special medical attention.

GreytLove Fund

At times GreySave will bring in a dog with extraordinary medical needs -- whether for a broken leg, a long-term illness, or due to some other injury or accident. The medical costs for these greyhounds can be very high, so GreySave has established a special fund just for them. All funds donated to the GreytLove Fund will be used exclusively for our foster greyhounds with extraordinary medical needs.

 

Ralphs Community Fundraising Program

GreySave has been accepted into the Ralphs Community fundraising program which contributes thousands of dollars every year to registered Not-for-Profit organizarions. To have a portion of your purchases contributed to GreySave you need to register on their web page. To do so, go to the Ralphs Community Program page at www.ralphs.com/ccprogram.htm, select Participant, and put in GreySave's NPO number which is 84135 and your 13 digit Ralphs card number. If your card appears to only have 12 numbers make sure you include the little number on the far left side of the card. Then fill in the rest of the boxes. If you have any questions on how to register or need to get your Ralphs card number since you normally use your phone number when at the store call their help line at 800-660-9033.
