GreySave Adoption Policies

To ensure that GreySave greyhounds are matched with the best possible homes, and that our adopters find the right dog for them, we have a few important recommendations, requirements and restrictions.

• All adopters must be 21 years old or older.

• All members of a household must agree on the decision to adopt a greyhound.

• GreySave will not adopt a greyhound to first-time greyhound adopters with children 4 years of age or younger. GreySave's board of directors will consider case by case applications from families with children 5 to 7 years old.

• GreySave will place a greyhound in a home only after applicants complete the entire adoption process.
